Home Inspections Are Invaluable

Previous Experiences

Before becoming a home inspector, Brian had many previous experiences that will serve him well in this new role. First off, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force working as a jet technician. After three years, he achieved NCO status and became part of the Jet Engine Conditioning Team in Marquette, MI. After that squadron was deactivated, he was sent to South Florida, where he worked in the Jet Engine Shop rebuilding engines and managing the technical publication library.

Next, Brian left the Air Force and enrolled in the local technical college. Instrumentation Technology suited him well, and he graduated in 1990. He immediately found work at the Boise Cascade Paper Mill, where he stayed for 4.5 years until accepting a position with the Liberty Paper in Becker, MN. After three years with the Liberty Paper, he decided to focus on a higher level of technology.

Marathon Petroleum came next…

where he was first employed as an Analyzer Technician. Within two years, he was the Lead Analyzer Technician, and he held this job for 12 years. In 2013, the company was bought out and he was let go. However, that didn’t keep him down, as he quickly found work at the Holly Frontier Oil Refinery.

In 2018 he made the decision that would change his life.

After a long personal interest in real estate, he moved to Grand Junction, CO. He got his real estate license, and he soon began working as a home inspector!
